Clause 78

Immunity from liability for disclosure of information

(1)

A person required under this Act to provide information to a designated insurer or the Commissioner for the purposes of processing a claim under this Act does not commit any offence under any written law or any breach of confidence, or incur any civil liability, merely by disclosing any information, in good faith and with reasonable care, in accordance with any direction of the Commissioner under this Act or any requirement under this Act.

A designated insurer does not commit any offence under any written law or any breach of confidence, or incur any civil liability, merely by disclosing any information, in good faith and with reasonable care, in accordance with any direction of the Commissioner under this Act or any requirement under this Act.
