Amendment of section 60

Section 60 of the Banking Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the words “banks in Singapore” in subsection (1), the words “or merchant banks in Singapore”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “Any bank” in subsection (5), the words “or merchant bank”.
