Amendment of section 63
Section 63 of the Banking Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(3) This section applies to or in relation to a merchant bank as it applies to or in relation to a bank.”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after the words “held by bank” in the section heading, the words “or merchant bank”.
