Section 410 of the Penal Code is amended by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following Explanation:“Explanation.—For the purpose of proving whether the whole or any part of any property constitutes “stolen property”, it is not necessary for the prosecution to prove the elements or particulars of any offence that caused or contributed to the designation of the property as stolen property.”.
