Amendment of section 451

Section 451 of the Penal Code is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “house-trespass” and substituting the word “house‑breaking”;

(b)

by deleting the words “2 years” and substituting the words “10 years”;

(c)

by deleting the words “; and if the offence intended to be committed is theft, the term of the imprisonment may be extended to 7 years”; and

(d)

by deleting the word “House-trespass” in the section heading and substituting the word “House‑breaking”.
