Amendment of section 107
Section 107 of the Penal Code is amended —
(a)
by renumbering the section as subsection (1) of that section, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following subsection (before Explanation 1):“(2) A person may abet the doing of a thing despite the existence of facts of which he is unaware which make the doing of the thing impossible.”;
(b)
by deleting the words “wilful misrepresentation, or by wilful” in Explanation 1 and substituting the words “intentional misrepresentation, or by intentional”; and
(c)
by deleting the word “wilfully” in the illustration and substituting the word “intentionally”.
