Clause 10

Despite section 6, section 318 of the principal Act as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 6 continues to apply in relation to any person who, before that date, has been convicted of an offence but has not been sentenced by a court for the offence.

Section 9 applies in relation to any criminal investigation or criminal proceedings whether commenced before, on or after the date of commencement of that section.

For a period of 2 years after the date of commencement of any provision of this Act, the Minister may, by regulations, prescribe such additional provisions of a saving or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of that provision as the Minister may consider necessary or expedient.
