Clause 29

Saving and transitional provision

(1)

Section 11(b) does not apply to or in relation to —

(a)

any refusal or non‑compliance with an order given under section 47(1)(b) of the principal Act before the date of commencement of section 11(b); and

(b)

any contravention of any condition of registration of a registrable personal mobility device, being a contravention which occurred before the date of commencement of section 11(b).

(2)

For a period of 2 years after the date of commencement of any provision of this Act, the Minister may, by regulations, prescribe such additional provisions of a saving or transitional nature consequent on the enactment of that provision as the Minister may consider necessary or expedient.
