Repeal of Emergency (Essential Powers) Act, etc.
(1)
The Emergency (Essential Powers) Act (Cap. 90, 1985 Ed.) is repealed.
(2)
The Proclamation mentioned in the preamble to the Emergency (Essential Powers) Act repealed by subsection (1) does not apply to Singapore from the date on which the repeal takes effect (whether or not apart from this subsection it would so apply).
(3)
Section 5 of the Singapore Armed Forces Act (Cap. 295, 2000 Ed.) is repealed.
