Clause 39

Correction of clerical error in record in register

(1)

The Registrar‑General may correct any clerical error in any record in a register that the Registrar‑General discovers or is informed of.

(2)

A person informing the Registrar‑General of any clerical error in any record in a register must do so in the form and manner that the Registrar‑General requires.

(3)

The correction of an error under this section may be made in the form and manner that the Registrar‑General thinks fit.
