Clause 38

Any payment purportedly made by the Government under section 12F(3)(a) of the principal Act as in force during the period between 1 July 2017 and the date immediately before the date of commencement of section 23(g) (called the relevant provision), that exceeds $2,000 per week of a self‑employed man’s cessation of active engagement in his trade, business, profession or vocation, is as valid as it would have been if the relevant provision had specified an amount that does not exceed $2,500 per week of such cessation.
