Clause 157

Amendment of Medical Registration Act

The Medical Registration Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “originating summons” in the following provision and substituting the words “originating application”:Section 49(5);

(b)

by deleting the words “subpoenas issued” in the following provision and substituting the words “orders to attend court or orders to produce documents issued”:Section 51(6);

(c)

by deleting the words “subpoenas issued” in the following provision and substituting the words “orders to attend court or orders to produce documents issued”:Section 59A(6); and

(d)

by deleting the words “ex parte originating summons” in the following provision and substituting the words “an originating application without notice”:Section 59U(2).
