Amendment of section 69

Section 69 of the State Courts Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of subsection (3)(h)(iii);

(b)

by deleting the full‑stop at the end of paragraph (i) of subsection (3) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(j)prescribing anything that is required or permitted under this Act to be prescribed by Rules of Court.”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsection:“(3A) The Rules of Court may, instead of providing for any matter, refer to any provision made or to be made for that matter by practice directions issued for the time being by the registrar.”.
