Clause 14

Meaning of “politically significant person”

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires —“Part 4 politically significant entity” means an entity who is designated under section 47(1) as a politically significant person;“Part 4 politically significant person” means any of the following:

(a)

a Part 4 politically significant entity;

(b)

an individual who is designated under section 48(1) as a politically significant person; “politically significant person” means any of the following:

(a)

a political party;

(b)

a candidate;

(c)

an election agent of a candidate;

(d)

a political office holder; (e)a Member of Parliament (whether or not a political office holder);

(f)

a Part 4 politically significant person.

Definition

“Part 4 politically significant entity” means an entity who is designated under section 47(1) as a politically significant person;
