Clause 56

Political donations from impermissible donors, etc.

Subject to this Act, a politically significant person must not accept any political donation if it is offered by a person (called in this section the donor) who, at the time of its acceptance by the politically significant person, the politically significant person knows —

(a)

in the case of any politically significant person who is not a Part 4 politically significant person, is not a permissible donor; or

(b)

in the case of a Part 4 politically significant person, is a prohibited donor in relation to the Part 4 politically significant person because of a prohibited donor directive.
