Clause 2

Section 2(1) of the Interpretation Act is amended by inserting, immediately after the definition of “Judge”, the following definitions:“ “Judicial Service Commission” means the Judicial Service Commission constituted under the provisions of the Constitution;“Judicial Service Officer” means an officer in the Singapore Judicial Service;“Legal Service Commission” means the Legal Service Commission constituted under the provisions of the Constitution;“Legal Service Officer” means an officer in the Singapore Legal Service;”.
