Amendment of section 54
Section 54 of the Prisons Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after paragraph (d) of subsection (1), the following paragraphs:“(da)not consume any controlled drug or alcoholic beverage, or use or inhale any intoxicating substance;
(db)not have in the prisoner’s possession any controlled drug;”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (2), the following subsection:“(3) The order mentioned in subsection (2) must be served —
(a)
by delivering it personally to the prisoner; or
(b)
by any other means that may be prescribed.”.
