Amendment of section 2

Section 2 of the Plant Varieties Protection Act is amended by deleting the definition of “Examiner” and substituting the following definition:“ “Examiner” means any person, organisation or entity (including an international plant variety office or organisation, or a plant variety office or an organisation of a country or territory other than Singapore) appointed by the Registrar for the purpose of referring any question or matter relating to the examination of a plant variety for a grant of protection;”.
