Amendment of section 47

Section 47 of the Geographical Indications Act 2014 is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “correcting” in subsection (2) and substituting the word “amending”;

(b)

by deleting the word “address” in subsection (2)(a) and substituting the words “other particular”;

(c)

by deleting the word “correction” in subsection (2) and substituting the word “amendment”; and

(d)

by deleting subsection (3) and substituting the following subsection:“(3) Subsection (2) is subject to the rules mentioned in section 84(2)(ea).”.
