Clause 30

Amendment of section 12

Section 12(1) of the Registered Designs Act is amended —

(a)

by deleting the word “and” at the end of paragraph (b); and

(b)

by deleting the comma at the end of paragraph (c) and substituting the word “; and”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(d)that person or that person’s successor in title provides to the Registrar, upon request by the Registrar —

(i)

any prescribed information; and

(ii)

any supporting document,in the manner and within the time specified by the Registrar,”.
