Amendment of section 84

Section 84(2) of the Geographical Indications Act 2014 is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph (e), the following paragraph:“(ea)to enable the Registrar to publish —

(i)

an application to rectify an error or omission in the register; and

(ii)

a request to amend an application, a notice or other document,and to provide for the making of objections to the rectification or amendment by a person claiming to be affected by it;”.
