Amendment of section 26

Section 26 of the Patents Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (7), the following subsection:“(7A) Subsection (7)(c) does not apply in prescribed circumstances.”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately before the words “files such other documents” in subsection (9)(b)(iv), the words “except in prescribed circumstances,”.
