Amendment of section 12
Section 12 of the Women’s Charter is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “and 22” in subsection (2) and substituting the words “, 11A and 13”; and
(b)
by deleting paragraph (a) of subsection (3) and substituting the following paragraph:“(a)the sex of any party to a marriage as registered under the National Registration Act 1965 at the time of the marriage is prima facie evidence of the sex of the party; and”.
