Clause 15

Amendment of section 34

Section 34 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting the word “or” at the end of subsection (1)(b);

(b)

by deleting the word “; or” at the end of subsection (1)(c) and substituting a comma;

(c)

by deleting paragraph (d) of subsection (1); and

(d)

by inserting, immediately after subsection (3), the following subsection:“(4) An officer, employee or agent of a public postal licensee mentioned in section 11(1) who with fraudulent intent issues or causes to be issued a document specified for use in connection with the remittance of money through that public postal licensee shall be guilty of an offence.”.
