Clause 29

Consequential amendments to United Nations Personnel Act 2011

The United Nations Personnel Act 2011 is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “extraditable crimes” in section 11(1) and substituting the words “extradition offences”;

(b)

by deleting the words “Parts 3 and 4” in section 11(1) and substituting the words “Parts 3, 4 and 5”;

(c)

by deleting the words “extradition crime” in section 11(2) and (7) and substituting in each case the words “extradition offence”;

(d)

by deleting the words “declared Commonwealth country” in section 11(2), (3), (8)(a)(i) and (ii) and (9) and substituting in each case the words “declared Commonwealth territory”;

(e)

by deleting the words “extradition crimes” in section 11(4) and substituting the words “extradition offences”;

(f)

by deleting the words “extradition crime” in section 12(1) and (6) and substituting in each case the words “extradition offence”;

(g)

by deleting the words “declared Commonwealth country” in section 12(1), (2), (7)(a)(i) and (ii) and (8) and substituting in each case the words “declared Commonwealth territory”; and

(h)

by deleting the words “extradition crimes” in section 12(3) and substituting the words “extradition offences”.
