Amendment of section 35
Section 35 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by inserting, immediately after the word “employees” in paragraph (a), the words “(including the Controller and any authorised officer mentioned in section 35A)”;
(b)
by deleting the word “or” at the end of paragraph (a);
(c)
by deleting the comma at the end of paragraph (b) and substituting the word “; or”, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:“(c)an authorised person mentioned in section 32A(3),”; and
(d)
by inserting, immediately after “$5,000”, the words “or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both”.
