Clause 24

The principal Act is amended by inserting, immediately after section 38, the following section:“Jurisdiction of courts38A. A Magistrate’s Court or a District Court has jurisdiction to hear and determine all offences under this Act or any regulations made under this Act and, despite anything to the contrary in the Criminal Procedure Code 2010, has power to impose the full penalty or punishment in respect of any offence under this Act or any regulations made under this Act.”.
