Repeal and re‑enactment of section 4
Section 4 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section substituted therefor:“Chairperson of Board4.—
(1)
The Minister must appoint a person (other than the Chief Executive) as the Chairperson of the Board.(2) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Chairperson holds office for the period and on the terms determined by the Minister, unless the appointment is earlier revoked by the Minister under section 5(7) or the person so appointed resigns during the person’s period of office.”.
