Amendment of First Schedule
Paragraph 11 of the First Schedule to the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority Act 2004 is amended by deleting sub‑paragraph (3) and substituting the following sub‑paragraph:“(3) The Chairperson or, in his or her absence, the Deputy Chairperson presides at meetings of the Authority, and if both the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson are absent from any meeting or part of the meeting —
(a)
a member authorised in writing by the Chairperson; or
(b)
in any other case, any member that the members present may elect,is to preside at that meeting or part of the meeting.”.
