Clause 21

Amendment of section 100

Section 100 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsections (3) and (4) and substituting the following subsection:“(3) The registrar of the Syariah Court —

(a)

must maintain a Register of Divorces containing the copies of the certificates of divorce issued by that Court; and

(b)

may keep the Register of Divorces in the form that the registrar of the Syariah Court may determine.”.
