Clause 15

in section 2(1), in the definition of “Director‑General”, before “means”, insert “, except in Part 7,”;

in section 77, after subsection (3), insert —“(4) This section does not apply to or in relation to criminal proceedings.”;

in section 79(2) (as in force immediately before the date of commencement of section 23 of the Family Justice Reform Act 2023), delete paragraph (b);

after section 91W (as inserted by section 24 of the Family Justice Reform Act 2023), insert —“Division not applicable to criminal proceedings91X. This Division does not apply to or in relation to criminal proceedings.”;

in section 139E(b), replace “section 56, 65, 66 or 69” with “section 56 or 69 or Division 3 or 4 of Part 7”; and

in section 179A(2) (as inserted by section 33 of the Family Justice Reform Act 2023), delete paragraph (b).
