Clause 11

Section 28 of the principal Act is amended by deleting subsection (4) and substituting the following subsection:“(4) Subject to subsection (4A), the sum deposited by any candidate under subsection (1) for an election in an electoral division must be returned to the candidate, as soon as practicable after the results of the election in that electoral division are published in the Gazette under section 33 or 51, as the case may be.”.
