Amendment of section 64
Section 64 of the principal Act is amended —
(a)
by deleting the words “subsection (1A)” in subsection (1) and substituting the words “subsections (1A) and (1B)”; and
(b)
by inserting, immediately after subsection (1A), the following subsection:“(1B) The candidate or, in the case of a group of candidates, any candidate in the group may —
(a)
make any appointment mentioned in subsections (1)(a) and (1A); and
(b)
inform the presiding officer at each polling station in writing of the name of every polling agent appointed to act at that polling station.”.
