Amendment of section 5

In the principal Act, in section 5 —

(a)

in subsection (1), after “order”, insert “against a respondent in respect of the respondent’s parent”;

(b)

in subsections (1), (2)(a), (b), (c) and (f) and (4), replace “the applicant” wherever it appears with “the parent”;

(c)

in subsection (2), delete “for the benefit of an applicant”;

(d)

in subsection (2)(b), replace “an applicant” with “the parent”; and

(e)

in subsection (7), replace “conciliation officer” with “mediator”.
