New section 7A
In the principal Act, after section 7, insert —“Considerations by Board in carrying out functions and duties and exercising powers7A. The Board may —
(a)
in carrying out any function or duty or exercising any power under this Act, have regard to any matter that is necessary for or which facilitates the carrying out of any function or duty or the exercising of any power of the Board under the Sewerage and Drainage Act 1999; and (b)in carrying out any function or duty or exercising any power under the Sewerage and Drainage Act 1999, have regard to any matter that is necessary for or which facilitates the carrying out of any function or duty or the exercising of any power of the Board under this Act.”.
