Amendment of section 143
In the principal Act, in section 143, replace paragraph (a) with —“(a)pursuant to such disciplinary proceedings under this Act as are applicable to a solicitor or lawyer (NP), he or she —
(i)
has been suspended from practice or struck off the roll of advocates and solicitors;
(ii)
is struck off the roll of lawyers (NP); or
(iii)
is subject to an order in section 98 prohibiting him or her from applying to the court for admission as an advocate and solicitor until after a date specified in the order;”.
