Amendment of section 19

Section 19 of the principal Act is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after the words “of a controlled drug” in subsection (1), the words “or psychoactive substance”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately after the words “consuming a controlled drug” in subsection (1), the words “or psychoactive substance, as the case may be”;

(c)

by deleting the words “or administering” wherever they appear in subsection (2) and substituting in each case the words “, administering or consuming”;

(d)

by inserting, immediately before the words “is presumed” in subsection (2), the words “or psychoactive substance”; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately before the words “in that place” in subsection (2), the words “or psychoactive substance (as the case may be)”.
