Clause 38

by inserting, immediately after the definition of “port of return” in section 2(1), the following definition:“ “psychoactive substance” has the meaning given by section 2 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973;”;

by deleting the words “or a drug” in the following provisions and substituting in each case the words “, a drug or a psychoactive substance”:Section 76Section 115(3)(b); and

by inserting, immediately after the word “drug” wherever it appears in section 79 (including the section heading), the words “or psychoactive substance”.
