Amendment of section 144A
In the principal Act, in section 144A —
(a)
in subsection (2), after “public accountant”, insert “or other suitably qualified person”;
(b)
after subsection (2), insert —“(2A) The Authority may, in a case where the matter to be reviewed or investigated is of a confidential, commercially sensitive or security sensitive nature, appoint a special auditor to undertake the special audit mentioned in subsection (1)(a) and recover the cost of the special audit from the casino operator.”; and
(c)
in subsection (3), after “subsection (2)”, insert “or (2A)”.
