Amendment of section 170

In the principal Act, in section 170(2) —

(a)

replace paragraphs (a) and (b) with —“(a)the quorum and procedure for the conduct of any proceedings by the Council, including for the conduct of any meeting or hearing using remote communication technology;

(b)

the quorum and procedure for the conduct of any proceedings by a Committee, including for the conduct of any meeting or hearing using remote communication technology;”;

(b)

in paragraph (c), delete “and” at the end;

(c)

in paragraph (d), replace the full-stop at the end with a semi‑colon; and

(d)

after paragraph (d), insert —“(e)any matter relating to the appointment of the panel of assessors mentioned in section 157(2);

(f)

any matter relating to the making of a decision under —

(i)

section 165AA(6) and (7); and

(ii)

section 165B(5) and (6); and

(g)

anything required or permitted to be prescribed in this Part.”.
