New section 21A
In the principal Act, after section 21, insert —“Board may take over control, etc., of stormwater drainage systems and drains21A.—
(1)
The Board may take over the control, supervision, maintenance and repair of any stormwater drainage system or drain not already under its control or supervision or maintained by it, to such extent as the Board thinks fit and may charge fees therefor.(2) The Board may, at any time, vary or rescind any decision to control, supervise, maintain and repair a stormwater drainage system or drain.(3) Fees charged by the Board for the control, supervision, maintenance and repair of a stormwater drainage system or drain under subsection (1) are payable by any user thereof.”.
