Amendment of section 45
In the Securities and Futures Act 2001, in section 45(1) —
(a)
after “a recognised market operator,”, insert “or a class of approved exchanges or class of recognised market operators,”;
(b)
in paragraph (a), after “or of organised markets operated by”, insert “approved exchanges or recognised market operators of the class, or by”; and (c)in paragraph (e), after “28(11) or (12)”, insert “, 41A(4), (9) or (10), 41C(11) or (12)”.
