Clause 11

In the principal Act, in section 116(9), replace “for a period of not less than 12 months from the date of the conviction from holding or obtaining a driving licence” with “from holding or obtaining a driving licence for a period of not less than 12 months starting on the date of the person’s conviction or, if the person is sentenced to imprisonment, on the date of the person’s release from prison”.
