Amendment of section 45B
In the principal Act, in section 45B —
(a)
in the section heading, delete “during public health emergency”;
(b)
replace subsection (1) with —“(1) The appropriate Minister may, for the purpose of preventing the spread of an infectious disease out of Singapore, by written order —
(a)
require all or any persons or class of persons leaving Singapore to undergo any medical examination specified in the order within or at such time and at such place, as may be specified in the order; and
(b)
impose any condition that the appropriate Minister thinks fit on that person or those persons.”; and
(c)
in subsection (2), after “Any person”, insert “(including any person in a class of persons)”.
