Amendment of section 8
In the MMTA, in section 8(3) —
(a)
in paragraph (a), delete “and” at the end; and
(b)
after paragraph (a), insert —“(aa)to provide, in the case of an MNE group which results from a demerger as defined in the regulations, a modification of the conditions in subsection (1) for the purpose of determining if this Act applies to the MNE group for a financial year beginning on or after 1 January 2025; and”.
