Amendment of section 30

In the Industrial Relations Act 1960, in section 30, replace subsection (1) with —“(1) In this Part, unless the context otherwise requires —“employer”, in relation to any representations to the Minister or any negotiation involving a workplace fairness dispute, has the meaning given by section 2 of the Workplace Fairness Act 2025;“recognised trade union” means a trade union the majority of whose membership consists of non‑executive employees and which has been accorded recognition by an employer under section 17 in respect of any non‑executive employees.”.
