Amendment of section 8B

In the Retirement and Re‑employment Act 1993, in section 8B, replace subsection (12) with —“(12) Any direction of the Minister under subsection (6) operates as a bar to the following actions by the employee in any court in respect of the unreasonable denial of re‑employment, or the dismissal of the employee without just cause or excuse, as the case may be:

(a)

any action for damages;

(b)

any action for discrimination.”.
