Clause 38

Account restriction (administrator) direction — content

(1)

An account restriction (administrator) direction is a direction requiring the recipient to disallow or restrict, by the specified time, a relevant Singapore account from accessing the relevant location —

(a)

for a specified period; or

(b)

indefinitely.

(2)

An account restriction (administrator) direction may also require the recipient to disallow or restrict access to the relevant location —

(a)

for a specified period; or

(b)

indefinitely,by any account which the recipient knows or ought reasonably to know was created by the owner of the relevant Singapore account after the direction had been given.

(3)

Any requirement to disallow or restrict access mentioned in subsection (2), imposed on the recipient, may apply to the recipient for a specified period not exceeding 2 years after the date the direction is given.

(4)

In this section, “specified” means specified in the account restriction (administrator) direction.
