Clause 82

Regulations for Parts 1 to 9

(1)

The Minister may make regulations for carrying out or giving effect to Parts 1 to 9, and for any matter that is required to be prescribed under those Parts.

(2)

Without limiting subsection (1), the regulations may —

(a)

provide for anything that may be prescribed under Parts 1 to 9;

(b)

provide for the composition of the Appeal Panel;

(c)

provide for the constitution and procedure for the conduct of any proceedings by an Appeal Committee, including for the conduct of any meeting or hearing using remote communication technology;

(d)

provide for fees payable in respect of any report, application or appeal made, or for any other purpose, under Parts 1 to 9;

(e)

provide for such saving, transitional and other consequential provisions as the Minister considers necessary or expedient.

(3)

The powers conferred by this section do not extend to any matter for which Rules of Court or Family Justice Rules may be made under section 104 or 105, respectively.
