Obstructing inspecting officer
(1)
If an inspecting officer is authorised under this Act to enter any premises, a person who —
wilfully prevents the inspecting officer from entering or re‑entering those premises or any part of those premises;
wilfully obstructs or delays the inspecting officer from entering or re‑entering those premises or any part of those premises; or
gives an alarm or causes an alarm to be given for the purpose of —
notifying anyone else of the presence of the inspecting officer; or
obstructing or delaying the inspecting officer from entering or re‑entering those premises or any part of those premises,shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.

A person who intentionally refuses to give access to, or intentionally obstructs, hinders or delays an inspecting officer in the discharge of the inspecting officer’s duties under any provision of this Act shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 12 months or to both.
